Use:
JINTAI 9900/9900N is widely used in chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and railway tank car industries. This gasket material has been tested evaluated and approved for use in liquid chlorine, caustic soda, liquid oxygen, and high-purity pharmaceutical industries. Among them, 9900N is approved for use in the plasma component manufacturing industry. JINTAI 9900/9900N is designed to be used in situations where it is required to withstand strong chemical corrosion. Unpigmented white gasket materials like style 9900N are available. Both styles 9900 and 9900N (including marked styles) comply with FDA requirements.
JINTAI 9900 is approved for use through the Chlorine Institute's Testing Protocol and is listed as a qualified gasket material for drying chlorine (liquid and gaseous), as published by the Chlorine Institute, Pamphlet No. 95, 3rd Edition. In addition, JINTAI 9900 is approved for use in caustic soda manufacturing equipment. Unlike ordinary glass fiber-filled PTFE gasket materials, the shape of the filler in JINTAI 9900 prevents capillary action that causes corrosion of the flange surface.
JINTAI 9900/9900N has been independently tested and certified (BAM) and is approved for use with media such as liquid oxygen at pressures not higher than 585psi (40bar) and temperatures not higher than 392°F (200°C). Gaskets for oxygen are available from distributor stock, but proper cleaning procedures must be followed before installing such gaskets.

JINTAl 9900 is evenly mixed with various shapes of inorganic fillers in pure PTFE resin with due physical and academic properties. This gasket material is suitable for use on steel flanges without the cold flow issues associated with pure PTFE or the hardness issues associated with some other filled PTFE gasket materials. This material is easy to cut and process, and it is clean to remove from the flange after use.

9900/9900N Improved Non-Asbestos Filled PTFE Sheet Gasket Material is a sealing gasket material composed of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and improved non-asbestos filling material. PTFE has excellent chemical stability, electrical insulation, high temperature resistance and low friction properties, making this sealing material widely used in many demanding industrial environments.
9900 series and 9900N series are mainly improved on the basis of traditional PTFE materials, usually adding different fillers (such as glass fiber, carbon powder, ceramic powder, etc.) to improve mechanical strength, wear resistance and compression resistance, so that the product can operate stably in a wider range of working environments.
